Alicia Ciccone, LPCC
Hi! My name is Alicia Ciccone. I’m a mama, a proud military wife and clinical therapist. Each one of these titles brings me a sense of joy and pride, and all come with their unique rewards and struggles.
It took me many years to discover I wanted to take the steps to become a therapist. I’ve always been a “helper”, but my incredible fear of blood discouraged me from pursuing a career in traditional healthcare. As I pushed through school trying to find my path, I became more and more drawn to mental health. I began to wonder, “How would I be different today if I had a therapist to talk to when my father died at a young age? Or having someone to help me understand the power of addictions when growing up in a family of addictive behaviors…. Or… or…. Or…”.
I get excited about challenging boundaries and stepping out of my comfort zone. I encourage everyone I know to do the same! And for many people, that starts right here with seeking therapy!
I’m experienced in working with military families, grief counseling, and trauma treatments. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and have had training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Do you feel that something is holding you back in life? Does it feel as if something is missing but you’re not sure what it is, or if that’s even true? Does it look like you have a great life on the outside, but you still feel empty or unfulfilled on the inside? This is a familiar feeling for people that have become disconnected from their authentic self.
When most people think of childhood trauma, physical, mental, or sexual abuse (also known as big T traumas) come to mind. These are things that should never have happened. Although this is accurate, I have found that more people have experienced significant childhood trauma from emotional neglect (often referred to as little t traumas) because what was needed, such as validation and love, was never received. The absence of feeling seen, heard, valued, and important leaves room for a heavy emptiness inside of a person; this is where self-love and a healthy self-esteem are supposed to be.
Many times, when someone experiences childhood trauma, it leads to an abundance of other problems such as addiction, codependency, toxic relationships, and emotional dysregulation. Because of my personal journey, I deeply understand the destruction of complex trauma, and I have overcome its negative effects.
In 2005, I started a journey of healing, and by 2008 I knew that I wanted to help people with similar life experiences. Although the healing process was far from over, I had already experienced feeling so much “lighter” because the empty heaviness was being released as self-love filled the void. I have created a life of passion and purpose, and I truly do not know anyone that loves their life more than I love mine—I feel that this is the purest form of success. My own healing has allowed me to be present with clients while they experience these ‘aha’ moments where insight and clarity combine for life-changing realizations and empowerment.
I encourage you to break through the limits of mediocrity and survival mode so you can connect with fulfillment and joy. I understand that you are doubtful and maybe even scared, but people often feel this way when they consider trying something new for the first time. Fear is present to let us know that this is important; it is not designed to hold us back. I understand this can be so confusing because I believe that addiction and trauma live through lies. That’s why I promise to be with you every step of the way, challenging you through a lens of compassion and empathy, so you can experience the reward of your hard work.
By using concepts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I can teach you how to change your negative core beliefs and create a positive identity. You will finally be able to connect with your authentic self as you heal from the pain of your past.
If you are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, call or schedule an appointment with me today.

Cynthia Treasure, LPCC-S
I believe therapy is a shared journey, and I approach my work with clients through collaboration, curiosity, and connection – drawing on multiple therapeutic methods to support each person’s goals. Our brain – complex and constantly adapting through prediction – helps us survive, but the demands of life and experiences of adverse events can lead to patterns that make life feel difficult. In my clinical work, I use proven therapeutic modalities that allow a deeper understanding of self and how experiences shape our emotional and behavioral worlds. Together, we address the challenges you face so you can connect with your inner wisdom and resilience and move toward a life of greater balance and fulfillment.
I am trained in and draw from several therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) and attachment theory is at the root of my clinical work. While I utilize the aforementioned modalities, I am guided by the understanding of how our interpersonal relationships shape our brain and impact our mental health. Healing begins in safe, trusting relationships, and our mind is not fixed, but ever evolving.
It takes courage to begin therapy and make the conscious decision to turn towards one’s challenges. I recognize the process of healing and growth is not easy. It requires an environment grounded in trust and mutual respect. Before meaningful work can begin, it is essential to build a strong therapeutic relationship – one that serves as a foundation for all we do. I am committed to honoring each individual’s unique story and supporting your journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
