Danell Johnson, LPC
Hello, my name is Danelle Johnson, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences with a concentration in Addiction Studies from Texas Tech University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. I am a retired Air Force veteran and a proud wife and mom.
My passion is empowering the individuals I work with by focusing on their inherent strengths and helping them develop the skills needed for healing and growth. I have experience working with clients ages 7 to 70 and enjoy incorporating creative, experiential approaches into the counseling process.
My primary areas of interest include supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and other challenges that impact overall functioning. I also enjoy working with clients who desire to deepen their spiritual disciplines as part of their personal growth journey.
Choosing to begin counseling takes courage—the courage to be vulnerable, to confront challenges, and to believe that growth is possible. Growth often emerges from struggle, and while the road may feel difficult at times, it can lead to profound meaning, deeper empathy, and stronger human connection. Counseling is an ever-evolving process, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing and wholeness.
I will be practicing under the supervision of Cynthia Treasure, LPCC-S, in compliance with Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
